-Support traders by researching and identifying
trade-related issues and monitoring trade positions.
-Responsible for the smooth operation of day-to-day
trading with the emphasis on saving costs and
clarifying the risk involved with holding certain
-Research trade-related issues and monitor trade
-Streamline management of securities positions
across various exchanges that serve as an arbitrage
-Manage the firm’s stock position by being
actively engaged in lending and borrowing of
-Full ownership of short stock rates. Locate
current market rates and negotiate with various
-Full ownership of ETF creation/redemption process
-Work in collaboration with the external clearing
organization and serve as a liaison to clearing
operations on behalf of the traders.
-Coordinate actions with back office for the
completion of specific securities transactions.
-Draw up and send overview reports, calculate
cost structures, and arrange extra entries.
-Automate data to streamline the process.
-Further automation of standard operations while
formulating reports from various perspectives
-Research and exchange rules and trading opportunities
-Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required.
-At least 2-3 years work experience in a similar
-Knowledge of financial markets; experience
in the trading industry a plus
-Experience with Access and Excel required
-Proficient with VBA
-Programming skills desired
-Must be a self starter who excels with minimal
-Ability to communicate effectively with individuals
-Ability to translate complex concepts to people
with varying levels of expertise
-Must be detail orientated and accurate
