The primary role this position has is to manage the development
and delivery of IT security standards, best practices, architecture
and systems to ensure information system security across
the enterprise. Implements processes and methods for auditing
and addressing non-compliance to information security standards;
facilitates migration to non-compliant environments to compliant
environments.
Responsibilities:
-Conducting studies within and outside the organization
to ensure compliance with standards and currency with industry
security norms.
-Managing and participating in the planning and implementation
of security administration of all IT projects.
-Responsible for evaluating and selecting security applications
and systems.
-Makes recommendations and assists in the implementation
of changes to work methods and procedures to make them more
effective or to strengthen security measures.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in related information technology field
-Requires 7-10 years of overall IT experience.
-Minimum of 5-7 years demonstrated experience serving as
an IT security subject matter expert.
-Experience conducting security gap analysis, network risk
assessments, and penetration testing in the large enterprise
environments.
-In depth understanding of technical security controls and
technologies in relation to the network security: Authentication,
Authorization, Access Control, Audit, and Cryptography.
-Results oriented with a strong commitment to quality and
standards.
-Ability to communicate or present information, both verbally
and written, effectively with all levels of the organization.
-Highly organized and has ability to manage concurrent deadlines
and multiple priorities.
-Experience managing IT security in a shared services and/or
cloud environment.
