Responsibilities:
-Direction and development of the Company’s middleware
strategy focused on the implementation of a SOA architecture.
-Manages the development of all integrations between systems
with an emphasis on the use of Web Services.
-Manages offshore resources and service providers in the
timely and cost effective delivery of integrations.
-Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming
activities for a group or section.
-Responsible for feasibility studies, time and cost estimates,
and the establishment and implementation of new or revised
applications systems and programs.
-Assists in projecting software and hardware requirements.
-Assigns personnel to various projects and directs activities.
-Reviews and evaluates work and prepares performance reports.
-Confers with and advises subordinates on administrative
policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities,
and methods.
-Consults with personnel in other information systems sections
to coordinate activities.
-Prepares activity and progress reports regarding the activities
of the applications systems and programming section.
Qualifications:
-Requires 7-10 years overall IT experience.
-Minimum 5-7 years of related integrations and web services
development experience.
-Minimum of 3-5 years experience within a software development
team.
-Experience working with offshore resources.
-Strong Experience with SOA architectures and governance.
-Strong experience working with Enterpriser Service Bus
technologies.
-Experience managing offshore teams and service providers.
-Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical
audiences.
-Ability to communicate or present information, both verbally
and written, effectively with all levels of the organization.
-Highly organized and has ability to manage concurrent deadlines
and multiple priorities.
