Lead Telecommunications Analyst
$75-$95K
Responsibilities:
-Support all divisions and departments globally
in meeting their business objectives through
the creative use of telecommunications and wireless
internetworking solutions.
-Assist in the design, development, and testing
of communications software interface programs.
-Lead the development and implementation of
technologies such as: VoIP, TDM, SIP, Qos, Call
Routing, Conference Bridges, Voicemail systems,
call recording, and other AVAYA products, such
as Call Center, CMS, IVR, Switch administration,
and troubleshooting.
-Lead the configuration, deployment, testing,
maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting
of telecommunications network components to
provide a secure, high performance network.
-Serves as technical specialist/lead on a functional
basis, for the resolution of complex network
problems.
-Coordinates contract activities, including
contract development, negotiation, and transition.
-Assure the appropriate analysis, selection
and use of cost effective technology assets
which best meet corporate telecommunications
needs.
-Put together detail project plans and execute
throughout a project life cycle.
-Effectively lead problem solving process to
a satisfactory resolution. Champion Company’s
interest in solving problems with 3rd party
vendor’s hardware and software.
-Work closely with vendors such as AVAYA, Sprint,
Verizon, AT&T, CallCopy, ISI, NACR, and
CC&N to make sure internal timelines and
deliverables are appropriately met.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 8 years of experience designing voice
connectivity solutions using technologies such
as VoIP, TDM, SIP, QoS, Call Routing, Conference
bridges, Voicemail systems, call recording,
and other AVAYA products such as Call Center,
CMS, IVR, Switch administration, troubleshooting,
etc.
-3 years program and/or project management experience.
-Proven ability to influence outcomes with little
explicit authority.
-Ability to lead/persuade at all levels of the
organization including senior leadership.
-Must have team leadership experience.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Strong critical thinking skills.
-Process-based management experience and knowledge
a plus.
-Strong problem solving skills which includes
root cause analysis, defining options for resolutions
and the ability to clearly articulate the options
to internal technical and business individuals
and 3rd party vendors.
