Responsibilities:
-Responsible for establishing, maintaining, monitoring,
and reporting IT expense and Capital budgets within corporate
financial policies using accounting/budgeting controls,
standards, guidelines, and tools supplied by the corporate
finance function.
-Oversees IT chargeback processes.
-Supports the development of business cases for IT initiatives
and tracks financial performance of IT initiatives.
-Models the impact of IT on the business and supports the
portfolio management function in identifying the initiatives
with the greatest return.
-Identifies ways to create productivity savings within the
IT function and tracks programs to capture these productivity
initiatives.
-Supervises specialized professionals responsible for budgeting,
financial controls, and operation planning.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in related information technology field.
-Requires 5-7 years related IT experience.
-Well-versed in finance, cost, accounting and reporting
concepts.
-Well-versed in contract management and managing service
contracts.
-Thorough understanding of IT landscape including application,
database, OS and network technologies, hardware, tools,
etc.
-Project or Risk Management certification such as Project
Management Professional (PMP) or Risk Management Professional
(RMP); Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) preferable.
-Experience writing, implementing and measuring compliance
with policies.
-Self-starter; ability to set personal and program goals
and track performance against initiatives; ensure alignment
of goals with key stakeholders.
-Ability to influence peers and management; ability to team
cross-functionally and form relationships to achieve objectives.
-Ability to communicate or present information, both verbally
and written, effectively with all levels of the organization.
-Highly organized and has ability to manage concurrent deadlines
and multiple priorities.
