EDI Programmer / Analyst

$60-$80K

Position is located in Chicago near Midway Airport.

Responsibilities:
-Establish and maintain data communication between Company and EDI partnership
-Analyze and resolve problems related to exchange data
-Analyze problems and/or situations to visualize the most effective solution
-Train and supervise employees in the EDI and operation field
-Ensure that data flows correctly from EDI to JDE and reverse flow of data for current and new trading partners
-Create EDI maps for new and current trading partners
-Sending ASN’s and invoices out through EDI
-Testing of new maps or current map of new trading partners
-Creating queries in Access to catch possible errors in data from JDE

Qualifications:
-Working knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment
-Knowledge of EDI packages such as Catalyst, Biz Manager and others
-Knowledge of STMAP, Catalyst 3.4 and Microsoft Access
-Programming knowledge of Access, SQL and JDE software preferred
-Ability to work in groups and independently
-Ability to identify, analyze and solve potential problems
-Good communication skills
