EDI Manager

Hands-on Manager role. Manage staff of two in a company with 8 locations and total staff of 300+.

Will consider relocating candidate.

Responsibilities:
-Work with all functional areas of Company to coordinate and manage the EDI setup of all trading partners.
-Establish policies and procedures
-Maintain working knowledge of EDI standards, transaction sets and all related business processes.
-Perform new partner/transaction set setups, making updates to MS Access/SQL, JDE and the INOVIS BizLink system as required.
-Understand/communicate EDI compliance requirements.
-Handle EDI production processes using Microsoft Access and INOVIS BizLink. Monitor EDI processing, identifying and resolving processing exceptions. Responsible for timely handling of all issues, employing business knowledge and creativity, as well as any and all available tools and resources. Frequent interaction with appropriate application development areas and business departments is required.
-Handle EDI issues notification to appropriate parties and escalation of critical and recurring problems. Issues may include, but are not restricted to requests for clarification or information, perceived processing problems, actual processing problems, requests for system changes, vendor surveys, and procedural issues
-Perform transaction set system testing with partners to ensure successful production activation. Check for compliance to EDI standards, validates data content, ensures error-free processing through EDI translation and JDE.
-Available to work first or second shift as required.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years experience working in Information Systems.
-Minimum 2 years hands-on EDI experience involving trading partner setup, mapping/translation and production process design/setup.
-Hands-on experience with EDI mapping.
-At least 1 year working with INOVIS BizLInk (mapper, document setup, translation setup etc.) preferred.
-Minimum 2 years experience writing queries, macros and VBS routines in Microsoft Access.
-JD Edwards experience a plus.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL server is a plus.
