Desktop Support Analyst, Level 1
$40-$60K
As the Desktop Support Analyst, you will be
responsible for providing computer, server,
telephony and building infrastructure support
for end users and assisting IT staff with daily
troubleshooting and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
-Respond to telephone calls, emails and requests
for technical support.
-Document, track and monitor problems to ensure
a timely resolution.
-Assist in the maintenance and support of desktop
PC, hardware, software, operating systems and
printers.
-Maintain a clean and well-organized server
room.
-Assist in identifying technical problems and
conducting research to resolve issues.
-Flexible schedule – ability to work some
nights and weekends.
-Do Moves, Adds and Changes.
-Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance.
Qualifications:
-Well-organized, good communication skills,
and attention to details.
-Strong customer service orientation; ability
to work well with all levels.
-Ability to build computer workstations.
-Experience with Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional,
and Microsoft Office applications.
-Experience working in a Linux environment.
-Experience supporting Blackberries.
-Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices
and procedures.
-Ability to lift 30 to 40 pounds.
-Degree in information technology or network
technologies related field.
-1-2 years of related hands on experience, 2-3
years preferred.
