Network Security Engineer Sr - Need 2!

Thornton, CO

Up to $90-110K

Responsibilities:
-Deliver operational support for Company’s network-based managed services.
-Lead network-based crisis events and resolve incidents within the service level objectives defined by Service Operations management
-Deliver world-class customer service while interacting with vendors and customers
-Assist the service lifecycle organization with network capacity management and root cause analysis / remediation / mitigation
-Participate in on-call rotation with other engineers on the team
-Maintain clear documentation and procedures
-Deliver technical support to the tier-2 organization

Qualifications:
-College degree BA or BS in relevant field (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business) or equivalent work experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent
-5-10 years experience providing design and administration for enterprise or service provider size networks
-Routing protocols and related technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, and NAT.
-Layer 2 trunking and spanning tree technologies
-Firewall, VPN and security technologies
-Bind DNS and load balancing technologies (e.g. - SSL, Cookies)
-Must possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
-Diplomatic and capable of developing positive customer relationships
-Strong technical problem solving skills
-Clear verbal and written communication
-A willingness to learn new technologies

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with RHE, Solaris or Windows
-Experience with Cisco ASA, Checkpoint or Juniper firewall support.
-Experience with F5 or Zeus load balancers.
-Experience with ITIL-based processes and functions
-CCIE, CCNP, JNCIS, or CISSP
-Experience with SNMP, Perl, Python or shell scripting
-Virtualization experience with VMware ESX, ESXi, DRS, vSphere, vCenter, Update Manager, Converter, and Nexus 1000v
