Responsibilities:
-Participate in development of tools and processes
to facilitate two way communications with banks
and financial institutions around the world.
-Guide the requirements process; work with team
to design/implement reports and tools. Extend
existing system functionality to build out new
functionality as mandated by business.
-Support the treasury processes built around
bilateral cash settlement, and imports of cash
components on variety of trade types. Enhance
and create processes related to clearing and
settlement, such as trade matching and data
correspondence with exchanges.
-Hands on development of projects across a global
team.
-Liaising with internal customers to capture
requirements and architect solutions.
-Analyzing requirements and proposing solutions.
-Design, develop, test, and deploy changes to
meet requirements.
-Maintain ownership of technical systems.
-Track and report status of deliverables.
-Provide expertise on engineering software solutions
to enhance and automate business process.
-Provide expertise on Middle-to-Back Office
processes and systems.
-Maintain proficiency in technical skills.
Qualifications:
-5 years+ hands on object oriented sever side
development experience with C++ on UNIX
-Strong SQL
-Financial industry experience
-Strong client/server software development experience
-Real time software development
-Version control software and change management
-Requirements gathering/management
-Excellent problem solving skills
-Ability to engage with business
-Can work in a group environment
Additional preferred qualifications:
-C#
-Software builds (GNU Make) and configuration
management.
-Web technologies, IIS, WCF, shell scripting
on Unix, Javascript
-TIBCO
-GUI development
-XML
-Linux
-Experience of support of time critical processes.
-Zeroc Ice
-Swift
-Knowledge of financial instruments and market
data
