C++ Business Tracking Developer

Responsibilities:
-The role of Software Engineer/Senior Developer within the Business Tracking group will work closely with members of fundamental investment teams as well as the broader Information Technology teams. Key responsibilities will be to provide support and development of infrastructure within the Fundamental businesses. You will utilize C++/Object-Oriented Analysis, design and programming to develop robust, flexible frameworks.
-Join an established, experienced development team to build best in class research and counterparty management platforms integrated with real time trading and fundamental investing paradigms (cross asset classes).
-Design, develop and deploy new infrastructure components using C++, internal frameworks and 3rd party tools.
-Contribute new ideas/best practices.
-Facilitate communication and collaboration with business users and peer technology teams.
-Provide application support to multiple businesses globally.

Qualifications:
-5 years experience in C++/Linux.
-5 years experience in multi-threaded and real time programming with trading applications.
-Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design fundamentals, UML a plus.
-Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle steps.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Solid skills in Perl, SQL, scripting languages. Sybase experience is a plus.
-Knowledge of Java is a plus.
-Windows (Visual Studio) environment exposure is a plus.
