C++ Architect / Developer Sr, Infrastructure

Senior C++ Developer/Architect needed to design and develop the infrastructure services, libraries and toolkits such as logging, messaging, security and database connectivity, that is common across business units. This individual will work with fast paced team, responsible for architecture , design and implementation of the infrastructure services and libraries and toolkits. Ability to multitask (development, Production support, developer support, software evaluation, etc.), willingness to assume responsibilities and a can-do attitude are must. Candidates must be willing to Architect C++ solutions and be willing to work as a developer as well. This is a lead team where everyone pitches in to get the job done.

Responsibilities:
-Design and develop the infrastructure services, libraries and toolkits such as logging, messaging, security and database connectivity, that is common across business units.
-Drive design changes for improving reliability, configurability, expandability and performance of software.
-Participate in the design and architecture of the company’s customer facing applications.
-Manage software complexity for the company.

Qualifications:
-Strong experience with: C++, STL, Linux/Windows, Multithreaded programming
-Familiarity with C++ open source/third party vendor products such as ACE, boost and Roguewave
-5+ years experience in building large scale C++ applications.
-2+ years in a role that involves design and architecture of C++ applications.
