Client Integration Specialist - Chicago, IL

$80-$90K + bonus

Candidate will assist clients with integration efforts with the Company’s marketplace for electronic trading, market data and back office STP solutions.

Responsibilities:
-Monitor activities and determine:
*Exchange Difficulties ( eg. Determined that Tick spreads needed to be increased overall and increased even more for high volatility days.)
*Client Difficulties: assist client in using market data by reviewing executions and rejects and reaching out to customers.
-Determine from client’s activity and client relationship activities new client requirements, analyze and forward recommendations and business requirements. ( eg List Order, Client Order ID, etc.)
-Maintain relationship with business & technical side
-Maintain relationship with technical side
-Explore at current customers opportunities for selling
-Find new customers
-QA & Certify releases for API customers
-Develop sample applications
-Develop FIX ROE
-On board new clients and project manage that activity
-Once clients are ready to go live, certify order entry, market data, and post trade capture application(s)
-Communicate system issues, bugs to production support.
-Provide continuous support and information exchange to the clients' development personnel
-Provide solutions, recommendations, and answers to clients in the following areas:
*Connecting to software
*Trading systems and trading rules
*API Functionality and Function Calls
*Java and C++ Syntax / Architecture in relation to API
-Offer on-site programmatic guidance / support to our program trading cliental.
- Provide volume estimates for current and new business. Analyze existing order flow. Determine quality of market, customer behavior in market.
-Candidate must take ownership of the client integration relationship with a drive towards increasing customer's participation with products.
-Candidate, along with other team members and in collaboration with the help desk, will provide operational assistance for all client integration issues.
-Candidate will be responsible for the certification of all client applications before allowing access to the marketplace.
-Candidate will be tasked with growing client algorithmic based business and will be solely responsible for ensuring that the customer's system integration with proprietary software provide them with the full capabilities of features and functionality for clients to electronically interact with the marketplace.
-Candidate will assist customer with C / C++ / Java Syntax in relation to the Company API.
-Candidate will champion client requests and liaise with the technology managers to facilitate implementation and communication with the customer.
-Markets supported are US Treasuries, Futures
-Travel (less than 10%) required.

Required Experience:
-3-5 years client interaction and support.
- Knowledge of C / C++/Java Syntax
- FIX experience helpful.
-Experience in financial services, exchange operations, exchange terminology, trading environments, real-time systems and mission critical systems. financial industry experience waived for a very bright candidate willing to learn.
-Knowledge of exchange connectivity and market data system and back office operations recommended
- Knowledge of fixed income, futures a plus.
- Experience in issue tracking and other project tracking requirements.
-Highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and ability to represent Company in a professional manner.
-Strong communication, collaboration skills and experience interacting with business and technical management.
