Help Desk - Level 1 & 2 – READY TO HIRE!

Join the technology department of a top trading firm. Looking for strong help desk candidates with solid windows experience.

Qualifications:

Strong troubleshooting experience with Office Suite and Windows XP
-Troubleshoot windows login problems.
-Troubleshoot Outlook to Exchange issues.
-Troubleshoot Excel Macros in Excel worksheets.
-Troubleshoot Network connectivity from Windows XP (should be able to discern the difference between hardware connectivity and network connectivity - ISO model basics).

Strong experience with Networking Basics
-Basic understanding of IP addresses/gateways/IP Ports
-VPN troubleshooting.
-Ability to use Windows tools to resolve/troubleshoot networking issues (nslookup, ping, tracert, etc.).

Trade Floor experience strongly preferred (But Not Required)
-Front Office Trading Floor experience (preferable in an equities/derivatives business).
-Understanding of market hours and general trader/analyst requirements.
-Experience within smaller financial services company preferred.

Familiarity with Dell, HP workstations and IBM (Laptop) hardware
-BIOS settings for these types of hardware.
-Basic Network cabling.

Experience with Blackberry OS and BES Server
-Ability to add and remove devices from BES Server.
-Blackberry device troubleshooting.

Familiar with VoIP technology including Cisco Call Manager and Unity Voice Mail software
-Adding/Removing phones to the Call Manager.
-Modifying phone configurations (speed dials and soft buttons).
-Ability to be able to reset voice mail passwords in Cisco Unity.

Experience with HP printers including digital sending software configuration
-Ability to use HP Printer Web Interface.
-Ability to set up HP Printers on the network.
-Ability to create and manage a print queue on Windows Server 2003.
