C# GUI WPF Developer

Up to $185K

MUST have prior financial/trading industry experience.

Responsibilities:
-Design and Develop in C# and WPF to create high functioning/highly integrated desktop applications for investment teams. This is a front end focused role but should involve experience and knowledge of back end services.
-Work as part of an established, experienced development team to build a best in class research & counterparty management platform integrated with trading and fundamental investing paradigms (cross asset classes).
-Design, develop and deploy new application components using .NET/C#, internal frameworks and 3rd party tools.
-Contribute new ideas and best practices.
-Facilitate communication and collaboration with business users and peer technology teams.
-Provide application support to multiple businesses globally.

Qualifications:
-Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design fundamentals.
-Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
-5 years experience in C#/.Net.
-Professional experience in WPF and XAML.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Solid skills in C++, Perl, SQL, scripting languages are plusses.
-Financial industry experience is required.
-Passion for developing innovative desktop applications.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Strong critical reasoning skills.
-Detail-oriented approach to solving problems.
-Enthusiasm for learning & results oriented.
-Strong work ethic & high degree of integrity.
-Self starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
-Bachelors of Science (Master Degree preferred) in engineering, computer science, or mathematics.
