C++ Software Developer - Chicago, IL

C++ Software Developers

Work in Chicago directly with traders and other developers to develop and maintain applications built on a proprietary algorithmic trading platform.

Qualifications:
-At least 3 years C++ and Linux experience.
-Ability to work in a small team.
-Experience with STL.
-Object Oriented programming experience.
-At least one scripting language, with Python being preferred.
-Some experience with at least one framework. For Example QT/GTK/ICE/ACE/Boost.
-Some network programming experience – socket/Winsock2/TCP/UDP.
-Some GUI programming experience.
-Version control experience.
-Knowledge of Design patterns.
-Multithreaded programming experience using pthreads with knowledge of deadlock avoidance, availability of lock free algorithms and concurrency.

Additional experience a plus:
-C++ 11 experience.
-Boost experience.
-C# experience.
-Experience using git.
-Distributed or parallel programming experience.
-Some experience with software testing, written unit tests, created test plans, and or experience with automated build and testing systems.
