Business Analyst – Back Office Operations

The Business Analyst will focus on Back Office
Operations. Collaborate with operations, accounting,
and various IT teams to collect, understand,
enhance and communicate requirements for trade
reconciliation, balancing and inventory management
to technology teams.
Responsibilities:
-Act as an expert on functional capabilities
of trade reconciliation and inventory reporting
systems.
-Gather business requirements from various stakeholders
at different levels of the organization.
-Communicate business requirements and big picture
back office concepts to technical teams.
-Develop user acceptance criteria and test cases.
-Ensure that new feature development meets acceptance
criteria for stated business requirements.
-Act as liaison between business stakeholders
and software developers to identify and resolve
issues.
-Assist Product Management with the prioritization
of new feature development.
Qualifications:
-3+ years experience in derivatives trading
or operations is required; experience working
with STP systems is highly desirable.
-3+ years experience analyzing and translating
client needs to create functional requirements
and acceptance criteria.
-Significant experience providing business/systems
analysis and hands-on testing for software development
projects.
-Demonstrated understanding of exchange traded
futures, options, equity products, and OTC fixed
income derivatives.
-Demonstrated ability to negotiate deliverables
across departments and organizational levels.
-Demonstrated ability to independently analyze
problems, synthesize and implement solutions.
-Experience with Openlink Findur a plus.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills;
a strong attention to detail is essential.
-Demonstrated ability to quickly internalize
new concepts and terminology.
-Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree
in engineering, computer science, or quantitative
field desirable.
