Job Description:
$65-70K base + commission
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional
sales account penetration & exceed quota
achievement in a large account assignment (3-22)
new & existing accounts dedicated to the
Public Sector marketplace.
• Interact with C-level senior executives
at Government Agencies & Public Sector organizations,
providing advice on best practices related to
the use of various services.
• Possess a working knowledge of legislation,
sound Public Sector business practices &
procurement methodologies including State &
Local Government & Education, GSA, FAR,
DFAR, teaming, sub-contracting agreements, systems
integrators and COTS software tools.
• Orchestrate , as a team player, the
engineering of detailed technical & business
case drivers to deliver ROI economic analysis
& solution for business resumption services,
Data mirroring, Data replication, Managed Hosting,
E-commerce and Professional Services.
• Extensive travel requirements up to
60%.
Qualifications :
• Degreed in Economics, Business, Engineering,
Computer Science or equivalent work equivalence.
• 5 – 7 years of Technical or contiguous
Government & Education,/Public Sector/Federal
sales that could also include services sales,
OEM, managed hosting services, channel, IBM,
Sun, HP, EMC, other hardware or networking sales
experience.
• Strong awareness of data replication
/ mirroring products and concepts
• Ability to use a personal credit card
for all reimbursable expenses is required
• Familiarity with consulting services
practices.
• Excellent PC Skills and common business
applications. ( MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Access, Visio)
• Detailed knowledge of Information Technology
to include Data center infrastructures, data
backup and recovery concepts and technologies.
• High level of business integrity
• Background check for security clearance.
• Advanced degree in finance, economics
or computer science desired
• “Red-team” & teaming
agreement experience desired.
• Military, education or government employment
background 5 to 7 years desired.
• The candidate should have 7- 10 successful
contiguous years, including consistent quota
achievement solely from a Government & Education
or Federal focus or experience in complex OEM
sales & contract negotiations.
In addition to the above required skills, all
successful candidates must possess extensive
knowledge and demonstrated ability in at least
four of the areas described: GSA, FAR, DFAR,
Public Sector business & contract acquisition
practices including 501-C non-profit, Government
& Education, Federal Enterprise Architecture
(FEA) Federal Information Securities Management
Act (FISMA), NASCIO, Oracle Government, E-Commerce,
Channel Partners, or Service to Citizens.
