Familiarity with accounting systems a PLUS.

Responsible for project management of IT development, technology rollout and needs assessment projects including preparation of project plans, organization and staffing of project planning meetings and maintenance of departmental project lists.

Responsibilities:
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope.
- Review deliverables and coordinate testing. Assure application of methodology and project standards.
- Ensure project documentation is complete.
- Minimize project risk by monitoring progress, budget and critical paths
- Work with employees and support staff in developing needs assessments and identifying technology.

Qualifications:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, responsible individual able to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to provide team motivation
- Ability to meet deadlines and aid in resolution of project conflicts through negotiation
- Familiarity with project planning software and methodologies required
- Posses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design, Intranets and Extranets.
- Demonstrated area knowledge of Human Resources, Professional Services time and billing, and Knowledge Management software a plus.
- Bachelors Degree a plus
- Experience of at least 5-7 years of increasing responsibilities within a medium to large organization
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience
