Job Description:
Qualifications:

· BS in Computer Science, equivalent Technical School training or equivalent work experience that includes appropriate training courses.
· 3 to 6 years experience providing data center services to external clients.
· Exposure to EMC storage and infrastructure highly desired
· Understanding of data center infrastructure technologies.
· Understanding of midrange and storage technologies.
· Understanding of network technologies.
· Experience with Installation, maintenance, and general support of Unix OS environments and software products.
· Working knowledge of associated maintenance tools.
· Extensive problem-solving skills for debugging OS, application, and network issues.
· In-depth technical knowledge and experience for reviewing and recommending technical solutions for internal and client infrastructure.
· Project management experience.
· Experience with business continuity technologies & practices, including high-availability, clustering, and data vaulting solutions.
· Experience providing services with a data center outsourcer, MSP or web hosting business.
· Experience with financial industry IS/IT requirements for security & business continuity.
· Ability to lead a diverse team to a common goal.
· Experience dealing with IT audits.
· Systems Certification specifically with Sun and / or Red Hat
· Extensive knowledge of logical volume management, Sun, Veritas
· Experience with cluster configuration, design, and implementation Sun / Veritas
